Mold Assessment and Testing

Our experienced Mold Inspectors will interview the property owner to uncover any underlying factors contributing to possible mold growth, and will perform a thorough check of each and every nook and corner of the property to identify mold growth. Inspectors, may at times, need to remove a section of the drywall or paneling to locate mold growth in an inaccessible place, as well as to find the source of moisture that may be causing mold growth.

Our certified Mold Inspectors at JennAir use sophisticated equipment and IR (Infra Red Cameras), to detect the presence of mold behind the walls, hence avoiding any damage to your walls. We provide detailed Mold Testing Reports covering not only the type of mold, number of spores in the air, but also the moisture levels, relative humidity, and recommendations for remediation ensuring that mold doesn’t come back once removed using our recommendations. We also provide follow-up and post remediation mold testing services.

NYC Local Law 55

Attention all property owners, managers, architects, engineers, and all others involved in the management and maintenance of a New York City property, starting January 2019, New York City has passed and will enforce Local Law #55 of 2018:  Local Law 55 of 2018 requires that owners of buildings with three or more apartments preform annual inspections to keep Common Areas and Tenants’ Apartments free of Mold and Indoor Allergen Hazards.

You need to pay attention to this law and its compliance requirements.  If you don’t, there is a very strong chance of becoming the target of numerous tenant complaints, HPD/DOH violations, and several other headaches, followed by potential personal injury litigation
